Customer Notification for Expiring Eligibility Documents

Summary

Customers will receive reminder emails to upload a new eligibility document when their current one is nearing its expiration date. The timing of these notifications depends on how the document type is configured.

This guide explains how to configure document types to ensure customers receive timely notifications.

Follow the steps below to configure the notification settings for expiring eligibility documents.

 

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. From the home page, go to the Memberships Module.

  2. Within the Memberships module, select the Eligibility Management submodule.

  3. From there, click on 'Document Type'.

  4. To modify an existing document, click Edit next to the relevant document. you need to create a new document type, follow these steps here.

  5. Ensure both the Expiry Period and Expiry Warning Period are not set to "Never".

  6. Choose the appropriate time duration for each:
    1. The Expiry Period defines when a document expires
    2. The Expiry Warning Period determines how far in advance the customer will be notified.
      Example: The document is only valid for 12 months and you want to give the customer a month notice:
