A quick reference for image requirements and character limits when setting up a reward, including the optional image carousel.

Image requirements
The same requirements apply to the main image and to every carousel image.

Your image is resized to fit 512 x 512 px when you save it, so upload a square image wherever you can. A very wide or very tall image is still accepted, but it will not fill the space as well.
WebP files are not supported. Convert a WebP image to JPG or PNG before uploading it.
Carousel images
Alongside the main image, you can add up to 5 optional carousel images to a reward. Members swipe through them on the reward detail screen in the app, and can tap any image to view it full screen.
Carousel images are entirely optional. A reward with no carousel images shows the main image on its own, exactly as it always has.
Adding carousel images
- Open the reward you want to edit, or create a new one
- Upload your Main Image as usual
- Under Carousel Images (Optional - Up to 5 images), click a slot and choose a file
- Repeat for as many slots as you want to use, then save
You do not have to fill every slot, and you do not have to fill them in order.
Replacing or removing a carousel image
Each slot that already holds an image offers a replace and a delete option. Upload a new file to swap an image, or use delete to clear the slot. If you upload a new file into a slot you have also marked for deletion, the new upload is kept.
Troubleshooting
My image will not upload
Check it against all four requirements above. The most common causes are a file over 4 MB, an image larger than 4000 x 4000 px, or a WebP file saved with a .jpg name.
My image is smaller than 300 x 300 px. Can I still use it?
No. Images below 300 x 300 px are rejected, because they look blurred once displayed.
My members cannot see the carousel
The carousel needs a recent version of the app. Ask the member to update Moves+ to the latest version from the App Store or Play Store. Members on older versions see the main image only, and nothing is broken for them.
