Question
How can I set up a Raffle reward in Moves+
Answer
Moves+ offers two types of rewards, Merchant Handoff and Discount Code. By using the Discount Code reward, you can create a Raffle reward for your users.
Step-by-Step Guide
Creating a Reward
1. From the home page, go to the Moves module.
2. Go to Rewards.
3. Click on Create New Reward.
4. Fill in the details.
4.1. Add a Title (32 characters).
4.2. Select Discount as the claim type. Selecting this will allow you to later import "Raffle Ticket Numbers" as codes (explained in the Create a discount code below).
4.3. Add the number/cost of points needed to claim the reward.
4.4. Fill in the description (max 1,024 characters) and terms and conditions (max 1,024 characters).
4.5. Choose a start and end date for when the reward will be live.
4.6. Click to enable the reward (i.e., it will be live and users can view this reward even if the start date is in the future).
4.6. Upload an image of the reward with dimensions 512px x 512px.
4.7. Add a pre-created tag (optional) if you wish to buffer the number of times the reward can be redeemed.
4.8. Click Save.
5. Create a Discount Code.
Now, you can upload the amount of stock, or raffle tickets, via importing codes. These inputed codes are what is displayed on the users screen when they click to redeem the reward.
- Create a discount code reward as described above.
- Click save and go to the ‘Codes’ tab at the top of the page.
- Import codes (your raffle ticket numbers) one at a time; or
- Use the Bulk Import Codes function.
- Download the Excel file and input codes underneath the ‘code’ header (keep that cell as is).
- You can import codes that are unique, or codes that are the same and you can download a list of codes redeemed via the Rewards report.
🚀 Pro Tip: When a Moves+ user redeems their raffle ticket reward, a unique code (as generated above) will be displayed on their screen. Once you're ready to draw the raffle, download a Reward Report filtered to show only this specific reward and the users who have redeemed it. From there, randomly select a winner.
