What rewards are, the two kinds you can redeem, and the rules on when you can redeem them.
User role: App member
Module: Moves+ app > Rewards
Moves+ turns your activity into points. You spend those points on rewards that your organisation sets, such as a coffee, merchandise or a discount. You find them on the Rewards tab. Rewards you have already claimed are on the Redeemed tab.
Two kinds of reward
In-person rewards
Usually something physical, collected in person. You open the reward on your phone at the counter and a member of staff confirms it on your phone. Your points go down and staff hand over the reward.
Discount code rewards
A code you use yourself, for example an online discount or a raffle ticket number. You do not need to be in a shop.
- The code appears only once, when you reveal it. Copy it or write it down straight away.
- You cannot view the code again later, even on the Redeemed tab.
- Your code is for you. Do not share it.
When you can redeem
You can redeem a reward when:
- you have enough points
- the reward is live (between its start and end dates)
- it is in stock
- you are within any redemption limit
Each reward card shows its status: Ready to redeem, Coming soon or Out of stock. Rewards can appear up to a month before they start.
Redemption limits
Your organisation can limit how often you redeem certain rewards, for example once every 14 days. A limit can cover a set of rewards, not just one. If you reach it, the app tells you how many you can redeem and over how many days. Check the reward's terms, or ask your organisation.
Points and partner rewards
- Redeeming lowers your Points available. It does not reduce your lifetime points or your leaderboard position.
- Some rewards are run with a partner and cost that partner's points, not Moves+ points. You see each balance under Your Points on the Rewards tab. Partner points can only be spent on that partner's rewards.
Questions about a reward, such as stock or a code that does not work, go to your organisation. See How do I contact Moves+ support?
