Common errors

The error says the report "requests activity outside the last 32 days".
The Moves Daily User Activity data source only holds the last 32 days. The report's date filter reaches further back, or uses a moving range such as "last quarter" or "year to date".

  • For older activity, create a report on Moves Daily User Activity Historical.
  • For whole months, use Moves Daily User Activity Current Month or Moves Daily User Activity Last Three Months.
  • To keep this report, edit the Query builder so it uses fixed dates within the last 32 days, then click Save query.

I see "Export couldn't be generated. Please try again".
The export did not start. Try again. If it keeps happening, contact OpenPlay support with the report name.

The error says the report "uses a data source that has been retired".
The report was built on the old Year To Date activity source, which no longer exists. Create a new report on a current activity data source.

My download is taking a long time or does not finish.
Exports are built in the background, so large reports take longer. Keep the Export download list open and wait for the Download button. If it does not finish, make the report smaller: narrow the date range, or remove columns you do not need.

A scheduled report did not arrive.
Scheduled reports run the saved query, so the errors above also apply. Fix the report, then click Run now on the Scheduled Reports page to test it. To get an email when a schedule fails, set Reporting email address in Settings.
