How to configure your Activity settings

Summary

This guide explains how to configure Activity Settings in the System Configuration module.

For example, you may want to set how far in advance a customer can view an Activity Timetable. These settings can be applied at the Global, Group, or Facility Level.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access System Configuration

    • From the home page, navigate to the System Configuration module.

  2. Go to Settings

    • Click on Settings.

    • Click on Manage Settings.

  3. Select Activity Settings

    • From the dropdown menu, select Activities.

    • You will see a list of configurable settings.
  4. Update your settings and Save the changes
    Click on Edit, next to the setting you wish to update.

  5. Enter the desired value and click on Save

Find below examples of the Available Activity Settings

Timetable View Settings

  • Advance view of ad hoc timetable (Customers/Members)

    • Controls how far in advance logged-in customers and members can view and book ad hoc activities.
  • Advance view of classes timetable (Customers/Members)

    • Controls how far in advance logged-in customers and members can view and book class activities.
  • Advance view of online activity timetable (Anonymous customers)

    • Controls how far in advance logged-out customers can view and book activities.

Fast Ticket Settings

  • Early access minutes allowed for fast tickets

    • Defines how many minutes before the fast ticket activity ends that users can still access the venue.
  • FOH cut-off days for fast tickets

    • Sets the number of days before the event that fast tickets can no longer be sold via FOH (Front of House).
  • Online cut-off days for fast tickets

    • Sets the number of days before the event that fast tickets can no longer be sold online.
  • How many days in advance can the Fast Ticket activity be sold online

    • Specifies how far in advance fast ticket activities can be purchased online.
  • How many days in advance can the Fast Ticket activity be sold via FOH

    • Specifies how far in advance fast ticket activities can be purchased via FOH.

Booking Limits

  • Max amount of bookings

    • Sets the maximum number of bookings allowed within a specified period.
  • Max bookings interval

    • Defines the time period for the maximum bookings limit (e.g., 1 week, 2 days, 6 hours).
