How to override a setting at Group or Facility Level

FLOW allows you to customize most settings at the Facility or Group level, making it easy to apply unique configurations for specific locations or groups of facilities. By default, most settings inherit the Global settings, but overrides enable tailored adjustments for specific needs.

This guide will walk you through the steps to override settings at the Group or Facility level.

Note: Ensure that Facilities and Setting Groups are already created before proceeding.


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access System Configuration

    • From the home page, navigate to the System Configuration module.

    • Go to Settings and then select Manage Settings.

  2. Search for the Setting

    • Type the name of the setting you wish to override into the search box and click Search.

  3. Edit the Setting

    • Locate the setting in the results list and click Edit.

  4. Apply Overrides
    Overrides can be applied at either the Group or Facility level, as described below:

    Group Override

    • Click on the Group Override tab.

    • Select the group you want to customize and click Edit.

    • Enter the desired value for the setting and click Save.

    • Repeat for additional groups as needed.

    Facility Override

    • Click on the Facility Override tab.

    • Select the facility you want to customize and click Edit.

    • Enter the desired value for the setting and click Save.

    • Repeat for additional facilities as needed.
