Configure the window of time before the activity (except classes) starts for venue access - V2

Summary

FLOW includes a functionality that allows you to configure how early customers with an activity booking token can access the venue before their activity starts. 

For example, if a class starts at 3 PM, you might want to grant access earlier so customers can get changed, purchase a beverage, or prepare for their session. By default, this setting is set to 5 minutes.

This setting applies to Resource & Ticketed Booking activities, 

This guide will walk you through how to configure this setting and explain where it can be overridden.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to System Configuration

  • From the home page, go to the System Configuration module.

2. Access Settings

  • Click on Settings and then select Manage Settings.

3. Locate the Setting

  • In the Category Dropdown, select Class Bookings.

  • In the Name Box, type:
    "Minutes after an activity starts that user can still access the venue to attend"
  • Click Search.

4. Edit the Setting

  • Locate the setting and click Edit on the right-hand side.

  • Enter the desired value (e.g., 10 for 10 minutes) and click Save.

5. Override the Setting (Optional)

  • This setting can also be overridden for specific activities in the Activity Schedule.

Setting Hierarchy

  1. Default Setting – Configured in the System Configuration module.
  2. Activity-Specific Override – Can be customized within the Activity Schedule for individual activities.
