What is a Merchant Claim versus Discount Code Reward?

Summary

In Moves+ there are two types of rewards available to redeem.

1. Merchant Claim Reward:

1. • This is usually a tangible reward such as a coffee or merchandise.
   • You can redeem this reward at the merchant's shop front.
   • The merchant's staff member will ask to view your phone with the rewards page open, and when prompted you can tap to redeem the reward together with the staff member.
   • You will then see a confirmation message that the reward has been redeemed > a reduction in your overall points > and the staff member will handover your reward.
2. Discount Code Reward:

• • Allows you to redeem a reward using a code, so you do not necessarily need to be in a shop at the time of redemption (like you do with a merchant claim). Examples include a raffle ticket number, or an online discount code for 10% off an item.
  • Once you click to redeem the discount code reward, it will appear on your phone for a limited amount of time (so make sure that you make a note of the code).
  • You can then enter this code on a website or provide it to a shop assistant, whichever is required.
  • The code can be unique and can only be used once so do not attempt to share the code with friends.
