There was no app store release this month. Admin dashboard and processing updates are delivered continuously. The app changes below were delivered automatically to members on version 5.5.0, without a store update.
Introducing optional sponsored labelling for partner categories
🚀 What is new
- A new Show sponsored labelling setting on the partner category edit page, in the Visibility section.
- The setting is on by default, so existing partner categories look exactly as before.
- When it is off, challenge and reward banners show the partner name without "Sponsored by", and the "Sponsored" label on reward tiles is hidden.
- Each partner category has its own setting, and changes reach the app without an app update.

- Your own campaigns can use partner points without being presented as sponsored.
- Sponsored campaigns keep their existing labelling.

Improvements
Admin dashboard: more up-to-date activity figures
- Dashboard activity figures now cover the 7 days up to the day before yesterday, in your organisation's own time zone.
- Walking steps are now counted once, so step totals are about 1.9% lower than before, and past reports for corrected days show lower figures.
App: contacting Moves+ support
- Tapping Contact under Help with Moves+ now opens the member's email app, addressed to moves@openplay.co.uk. If no email app is set up, the support form opens in the phone's browser instead.
Help Centre: clearer navigation
- The Moves+ Help Centre was restructured into a section for members using the app and sections for admins that follow the dashboard: Users, Engage, System configuration and Reporting. Every article was checked against the live product.
Fixes & reliability improvements
- Points and activity: Fixed walking points being reduced on days when a member also logged a ride or swim. Affected days from 1 September are being recalculated.
- Badges: Fixed a member's daily record, and the daily record badge, sometimes showing more than the real day total or the daily cap.
- App: Fixed the organisation list on the sign-in screen closing the app when it could not load. It now shows a message asking the member to pull down and try again.
- App: Members no longer see an "Update Error" screen when the app cannot check for an update. The app now carries on as normal.
- App: Fixed a red "Forbidden" banner appearing on every launch for staff accounts signed in to the app.
- Rewards: Fixed an error when bulk uploading discount codes to a raffle reward.
