Summary

The primary focus for this extended development cycle has been working on Activities V2 in preparation for the Q1 & Q2 client rollouts. However, for this release, we will also be releasing the next iteration of a Multiple Membership concept. This iteration brings the ability to purchase multiple DD memberships offline on behalf of other customers in one single basket approach and have the DD collection(s) associated with one DD mandate for a singular billpayer.

In addition, we investigated and implemented a fix for incorrectly applied general credit to customers' accounts due to cancelled schedules and a number of new datasources.

Enhancement - Already Released

Multi Membership Enhancement

This next iteration brings the ability to purchase multiple DD memberships offline (online coming soon) from a singular billpayer on behalf of other customers in one single basket approach and have the DD collection(s) associated with one DD mandate. This feature needs to be enabled by your Client Success Manager, please reach out if you would like this enabled.

In preparation for this new feature, clients will have seen a slight UI change to the membership purchase journey offline. The first image shows the new UI if the feature is enabled and the second image shows the UI whilst the feature is disabled.

For clients enabling this feature, you will also need to enable your staff with access, as shown below via the Customers Area on a Staff User Role.

New Datasources

We have introduced the following new datasources:

- Multi Memberships. This is to support the new feature and will display the details of the dependant(s) and head payers, including whether the head payer themselves have an active membership, the membership type & status for the dependant(s) and the termination reason if the dependant(s) membership is cancelled.

- Packages. This is a new datasource to easily display information regarding packages that have been sold to customers, including the date sold, number of usages and how many redeemed and if the package is due to expire

- Package Usage. This is a supplementary datasource to the Packages one above, which returns the data relating to the activity (facility, resource, time) that the Package has been redeemed against for that customer.

Key Defect - Already Released

We investigated and implemented a fix for incorrectly applied general credit to customers' accounts due to cancelled schedules. This issue was caused by a schedule's end date being changed to an earlier date, whereby any past activities that were dated for after the schedule's new end date, had generated credits to customers who had attended those activities.
