Overview
Can I connect Strava with Moves+?
No. Strava is no longer supported. Moves+ no longer connects to Strava, and it is not available to anyone, whether you are a new or existing user.
Moves+ previously integrated with Strava. As our user base grew, Strava's enforced rate limits meant users consistently exceeded thresholds, which led to blocked requests and disrupted syncing.
Your past activity and points are unaffected: your history, totals and leaderboard positions all remain as they are.
What can I connect instead?
There are two supported options:
| Connect this | If you have |
|---|---|
| Apple Health | An iPhone |
| Health Connect | An Android phone |
You do not have to give up your existing wearable. Most watches, rings and fitness apps can send their activity into Apple Health or Health Connect, and Moves+ picks it up from there. That includes Samsung Health, Garmin Connect, Fitbit's app and many others.
What about Fitbit, Garmin, Withings and Google Fit?
Their status is not all the same:
| Tracker | Status |
|---|---|
| Garmin | Existing connections only. Keeps working if already connected. Cannot be connected by a new user, and cannot be reconnected if disconnected. Please do not disconnect it. |
| Withings | No longer supported. Not available to anyone. |
| Fitbit | No longer supported. Not available to anyone. |
| Google Fit | No longer supported. See how to move to Health Connect. |
For Withings, Fitbit and Google Fit: your past activity and points are unaffected. To keep earning points, connect Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android.
For Garmin: if you already have one connected, it keeps working, so there is no need to do anything. If you want to move across anyway, connect Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iPhone. Garmin sends your activity into both, so Moves+ picks it up from there.
