What the Users area is for, what you can do there, and how to help members with common questions.
User role: Administrator
Module: Moves+ admin > Users
What this area is for
The Users area holds a record for each member of your organisation. You use it to look someone up, check their points and activity, and change their access. Administrator accounts are not listed here.
What you can do here
| Task | Where in the dashboard | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Find a user and see their record | Users, then View | Managing users in Moves+ |
| Understand a user's status | Status filters on Users | User statuses |
| Add or remove points | Points tab, then Modify Points | How to add or remove points for a user |
| Check daily activity | Activity tab | How to view activity records |
| Pause or stop someone's access | Block User or Change User Status | How to block or unblock a user, How to deactivate a user |

Helping members
Members ask your organisation about points, rewards, challenges and their account. Find the user first, then send them the matching member guide.
| The member says | Where to look | Send them |
|---|---|---|
| "My steps or points are missing." | The user's Activity tab | Why are my steps or points missing? |
| "I cannot sign in." | The user's status and email address | How do I reset my password?, or Signing in to Moves+ with your organisation account if you use single sign-on |
| "Please delete my account." | Nothing to do. Once processed, the user shows as Anonymised | How do I log out or delete my account? |
| "My points look wrong." | The user's Points and Activity tabs | How are Moves+ points calculated? |
Points adjustments are your decision, not OpenPlay's. If points are owed, add them yourself.
Good to know
- Check your Contact Email. When a member taps Send email in the app, it goes to the Contact Email in Settings. Make sure someone reads that inbox.
- Every administrator can do everything. Anyone with access to Moves can change points, deactivate users or delete them in bulk. There are no finer permissions.
