What the Engage area is for and how its tools work together to keep members active.

What this area is for
Members earn points for being active. Engage is where you give those points a purpose and give members a reason to come back. Challenges and public groups set shared goals, rewards turn points into something members want, and partner points let you run a campaign with its own balance. App notifications and the user survey let you reach members and hear from them.

Good to know
- Set up rewards before challenges. Challenge prizes are points, so members need something to spend them on. An enabled reward shows in the app as "Coming soon" up to one month before it starts.
- Members join one challenge per activity type at a time. If two steps challenges run at once, members must choose. A steps challenge and a cycling challenge can run side by side.
Badges and the monthly leaderboard run on their own. There is nothing to set up.
