How to configure your Membership Settings?

Summary

In this guide, we will show you how to manage your Membership settings. For example, if you want to set how many days after a membership expires in which a customer can renew their membership without a joining fee. You can configure this setting at Global, Group or Facility level.

 

Step-by-Step Guide

 

1. From the home page, go to the System Configuration Module

4. From the Drop Down category menu, select Memberships.

5. You will see the list of Membership settings

  • Allow Online Membership Cancellation

When enabled this will allow Customers to cancel their membership online.

  • Allow Online Membership Changes

When enabled this will allow customers to change their membership online.

Days period after a membership expires in which a customer can renew their membership without having to pay a joining fee

  • Days after a membership is created in which a customer should upload the relative eligibility document

  • Days before a membership freeze is automatically approved

The amount of time in Days before a pending membership freeze is automatically approved by the system

  • Enable the Online Joining feature

Whether Online Joining is enabled

  • Enable the search venue map

Whether the search venue map is enabled

  • Enable the search venue map for online joining

  • Maximum amount of days in advance that a membership freeze can be applied.

The maximum amount of time in days that a membership freeze can be applied

  • Membership Cancellation Compensation Message

The message displayed for users when no compensation is provided when cancellation prematurely revokes access.

  • Membership Cancellation Refusal Message

The message displayed for users when the "Allow Online Membership Cancellation" is disabled.

  • Membership change credit duration in days

The number of days a membership change credit will last before becoming expired

  • Notice period for cancellation of ongoing memberships (value in Days)

The number of days to be used as a notice period when an ongoing membership is cancelled. Cannot be less than your Direct Debit 'Payment Notice period' setting (defaults to 10 working days).

  • Provisional membership abandonment time

The number of minutes a provisional membership can exist before being automatically abandoned

  • Style url from mapbox to style map

URL from mapbox studio to style venue selection map

  • The min days from now a membership can downgrade

The minimum amount of days that a membership can downgrade

  • The soonest date that a customer can freeze their membership

How soon (in days) that a customer can freeze their membership.

  • URL for kiosk home page

Url for any external home pages for kiosk mode

 

N.B: Some settings can be overridden at Group or/And Facility Level.
