How to book a fast ticket activity for a customer at the Front of House (FOH)?

Summary

Whilst customers can make bookings online, occasionally they might come to the Front Desk and ask to be booked onto an activity.


This guide will show you how to book a Fast Ticket activity on behalf of a customer. Fast Ticket activities allow you to purchase multiple tickets at once, including group or family tickets, making it easier to avoid repeating the booking process for each ticket.

 

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. If you haven't already, start a Machine
  2. Search for the Customer

  3. Navigate to the Bookings Tab

    • Once the customer’s profile is open, click on the Bookings tab and select the desired Fast Ticket Activity.

  4. Select Time and Date

    • Choose the date and time for the activity the customer wants to book.

  5. Select Ticket Types

    • Choose the appropriate ticket type(s) (e.g., Child, Adult, Group). If there are any custom questions, answer them as required, then click Add to Order.

      Note: some tickets may be greyed out if you've reached capacity due to availability or the Max Number of Bookable Tickets at FOH setting from the Fast Ticket Activity Template/Schedule.

  6. Add Extras (if applicable)

    • Select any available extras (e.g., equipment rental) and click Continue.

  7. Choose Payment Method

    • Select the payment tender type the customer wishes to use.

  8. Finalize the Booking

    • Click Continue to complete the booking.

  9. Select Receipt Option

  • Choose how the customer would like to receive their receipt (e.g., printed or emailed).

  1. Confirm the Booking
  • The booking will now appear in the customer’s Bookings tab. If multiple ticket types were purchased, each will be listed as a separate booking.
