How can a customer purchase a Point-of-Sale (POS) Item at the Front of House (FOH).

This guide explains how to sell Point-of-Sale (POS) items, such as snacks, beverages, towels, or locker rentals, at the Front of House (FOH). Please note that POS items are not available for online purchase unless they are configured to be "sold as extra" with Fast Ticket Activity bookings.

To set up POS items for sale at FOH, you will need to:

  1. Create a Point-of-Sale Pricing Option.
  2. Set up a Quick Button for the POS item.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access the Front of House (FOH) Module

    • From the main menu, go to the Front of House module.

  2. Open the FOH Dashboard

    • In the FOH module, navigate to the Dashboard.

  3. Start a Machine

    • Select and start a machine to begin the transaction process if you haven't already.
  4. Search for the Customer

  5. Use the Quick Button for POS Items

    • Go to the Quick Button tab.

    • Select the Quick Button for the specific POS item, or navigate to the Quick Button Folder if the item is stored within one.

  6. Choose Payment Method

    • Select the customer’s preferred payment method to proceed with the purchase.

  7. Complete the Transaction

    • Click on Continue to confirm the transaction.

  8. Receipt Options

    • Choose to email, print, or skip the receipt, depending on the customer’s preference.
