Summary
When customers purchase memberships requiring an eligibility document, they must upload the document within a set timeframe, as determined by your configuration settings.
Customers will receive two reminder emails during this period:
- First Reminder: Sent halfway through the set timeframe.
- Final Reminder: Sent one day before the deadline.
This guide explains how to configure the notification period to ensure customers are reminded to upload their documents on time.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Access System Configuration
- From the Home Page, navigate to the System Configuration Module.
- Select the Settings submodule.
2. Manage Settings
- Click on Manage Settings.
- In the Category Dropdown, select Memberships.
3. Locate the Setting
- In the search bar, type:
"Days after a membership is created in which a customer should upload the relative eligibility document" - Click Search.
4. Edit the Setting
- Click Edit next to the setting.
- Enter the desired number of days customers will have to upload their eligibility document.
- Example: If set to 15 days, the customer will have 15 days to upload their document after purchasing the membership.
- Example: If set to 15 days, the customer will have 15 days to upload their document after purchasing the membership.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.

- Ensure the eligibility_document_expiring_soon email template is correctly configured to send reminder notifications.
