How to create a Package?

Summary

This guide will show you how to create a package, such as "Buy 12 Zumba classes for the price of 10."

Note: Before creating a package, you must first create a Package Pricing Option. The “Create New Package” button will only work if a pricing option is available. Packages can only be created for classes and ad hoc activities and are not available for Fast Ticket activities.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Packages Section

  1. From the Home page, go to the Promotions module.

  3. Click Create New Package to begin.

2. Enter Package Details

Fill in the following fields:

  • Package Name: Internal name for the package.
  • Friendly Name: The name displayed to customers during booking.
  • Package Description: Provide a brief description of what the package includes, visible to customers at purchase.
  • Facility Availability: Select the facility where this package is available for use.
  • Redemption Facility: Specify the facility where the package can be redeemed.
  • Sale Availability: Currently, packages can only be purchased offline, regardless of the selected sale option.
  • Usage Expiry: Set the package’s validity period. If it doesn’t expire, select Package Does Not Expire.
  • Pricing Option: Select the Package Pricing Option you created for the activity (e.g., Zumba class). If not yet created, refer to this guide.

  1. Click Save and Continue to proceed.

3. Set Activity Usage Details

  1. Pricing Option: Choose the relevant activity pricing option for this package (e.g., Zumba).

  2. Usage Quantity: Specify the number of uses included in the package (e.g., 12 sessions).

  3. Click Save Selection to confirm.

4. Publish the Package

Return to the Packages page and select Publish to make your package live and available for booking.
