How to enable/disable Membership Renewal

Summary

This guide will walk you through the steps to enable or disable the membership renewal functionality.

Important Notes:

  • By default, the membership renewal setting on the membership is configured as "Available Online & Offline".
  • You will also need to adjust the renewal grace period setting in the System Configuration module. This determines the number of days before and after a membership ends during which a customer can renew their membership without incurring a joining fee.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access the Membership Module
    From the home page, navigate to the Memberships module.

  2. Locate Membership Types
    Go to the Membership Types section.

  3. Edit the Desired Membership

    • Find the membership type you wish to configure.
    • Click on the 'Edit' button.

  4. Open the Advanced Tab

    • In the membership editor, select the 'Advanced' tab.

  5. Update Membership Renewal Settings

    • Scroll to the 'Allow Membership Renewal' setting.
    • Adjust the setting as needed.
    • (By default, this setting is configured as "Available Online & Offline".)

  6. Save Your Changes

    • Once you've updated the settings, ensure you save your changes by clicking on 'Update'.
