Summary
FLOW offers a 'Joint Memberships' feature that allows a customer to purchase multiple memberships for themselves and others. This can be configured for two or more memberships of the same type.
This can be helpful for selling 'Couples Membership' at discounted price.
Key Points of the Current Solution:
- Offline Sales Only: These memberships can only be sold offline through the Customers module; they are not available for online purchase.
- Single Direct Debit (DD): The head payer (the customer responsible for the DD mandate) will see a single DD transaction, rather than separate transactions for each customer.
- Even Price Distribution: The total membership cost is split equally among all customers linked to the membership. For example, if a two-person membership costs £50, each member is responsible for £25. If one membership is canceled, the total DD amount adjusts to reflect only the remaining active membership(s).
- Flexible Fee Management: You can individually cancel DD fees or apply freezes to one or more memberships, leaving others active as needed.
- No Membership Change Options: Upgrade or downgrade options are currently unavailable for this membership type.
- Currently only applicable to recurring Memberships
- A 'Joint Membership' first need to be created.
