Introducing Scheduled membership payment options
We have introduced a new 'Scheduled' payment option for Memberships, allowing you to offer memberships that run for a specific, fixed period - ideal for seasonal or term-based memberships.
Note: A feature flag must be enabled by OpenPlay to use this feature.
- Admins can create payment options with specific start and end dates.
- Add custom names such as "Summer Term 2026" to help staff and customers identify them quickly.
- Staff see the exact active dates during sign-up, so they can give clear, accurate information.
- Customers can view the specific dates their membership will be active, both during purchase and within their account.
- Options are automatically hidden from sale once the fixed end date has passed, keeping your lists organised.

Referral rewards applied automatically
Membership credit rewards are now automatically applied to members when their referred member has their first direct debit taken - no manual step required.

Activities V2 improvements
- Manage 'join after start' from the schedule: The 'Allow joining after start' toggle is now available in the schedule settings, so you can see and update joining permissions directly within the schedule slideover. This gives a consistent experience between the course template and individual schedule settings.
- Smoother, more reliable service: We have refined how the platform manages internal processes following the transition to Activities V2, helping keep it fast and responsive.

Fixes & reliability improvements
- Payments: Improved the reliability of payment verification for a smoother customer experience.
- Activities V2: Corrected a display issue so all credited booking items are visible in the order view.
- Activities V2: Improved the checkout process so custom questions appear in the correct order with their titles and descriptions.
- Activities V2: Fixed a timezone issue on the resource timeline so parent resource blocks align correctly with child bookings.
- Activities V2: Mandatory custom questions for Camps and Courses now include an asterisk to clearly indicate required fields.
- Membership: Fixed an issue where membership renewal prices were not displaying correctly for certain configurations.
- Reporting: Improved the accuracy of till reconciliation for Flow Pay card terminals so daily balances are always correct.
- Memberships: Resolved an issue that occasionally prevented membership cancellations and billing updates from being processed.
- Customer Management: Fixed an issue that prevented customer bank details from being updated correctly.
- Flow Pay: Fixed an issue that prevented updating payment mandates for customers with an outstanding balance.
- User Management: Improved the layout and formatting of membership receipts downloaded from an account.
