This guide will show you how to override your facility's opening times for a specific date. This can be done at either the global level or for an individual facility or even a resource, which is useful for events or special occasions, such as adjusting hours on Christmas Day. You can also choose to close the facility or resource.
By following these steps, you can easily manage and override your facility's opening times for specific dates, ensuring that your operations align with special events or holidays
Step by Step Guide
1. From the home page, navigate to the Facilities module.
2. Click on Opening Time Overrides within the Facilities module.
3. Choose Override Level. Decide whether you want to override the opening times globally or for a specific facility.
4. Click on Create New Override to set up your changes.
5. Configure the Override Details.
Global Level
Facility Level
Resource Level (select the resource from the Location dropdown).
A) If Adjusting Opening Times:
- Enter the Date: Select the specific date for the override.
- Enter the Opening Time: Specify the new opening time.
- Enter the Closing Time: Specify the new closing time.
The system will now display two lists:

Activities Cancelled (Red): Activities that will be canceled due to the time change.

Activities Not Affected (Green): Activities that will proceed as scheduled.

If you want to cancel the activities not affected by the override, simply untick them.

Click Create and Apply to finalize the changes.
B) If Closing the Facility/All Facilities:
- Select the Date: Choose the date for the closure.

Tick 'Closed': Mark the facility as closed for that day.
The system will show all activities that will be canceled due to the closure. No activities will take place on that day.
If you do not wish to cancel activities that are not affected by the time override, you can simply untick them.
- Click Create and Apply to confirm the closure.
It will display all the affected activities that will now be cancelled due to the closure. No activity will go ahead that day.
A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the opening time override has been successfully deleted.
6. Revert Changes (If Needed)

If you change your mind, click Delete on the right-hand side.

A list of activities that can be reinstated will be displayed. Untick any activities you do not want to reinstate.

Click Delete to remove the override.
