How to configure your Time Bands?

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating and managing Time Bands. Time Bands allow you to define specific time periods, such as Peak and Off-Peak hours on Pricing Options, or apply time constraints to Access Control Rule Groups.


Step-by-step Guide

  1. Access the Time Bands Section

    • From the home page, navigate to the System Configuration Module.

    • Select Time Bands from the menu.

  2. Create a New Time Band

    • Click on Create New Time Band.

    • Enter a name for the Time Band.

    • Click Save to confirm.
  3. Manage Time Spans

    • Locate the Time Band you created.
    • Click Manage Spans on the right-hand side.

  4. Create a Time Span

    • Click on Create a New Time Span.

    • Fill in the required details:
      • Start Date (Optional): Specify the date when the Time Span becomes effective.
      • End Date (Optional): Specify the date when the Time Span ends.
      • Day: Choose the day(s) of the week the Time Span applies to.
      • Start Time: Enter the start time for the Time Span.
      • End Time: Enter the end time for the Time Span.

    • Click Save to finalize the Time Span.
  5. Repeat as Needed

    • Add additional Time Spans to the Time Band, if required.
    • Each Time Band can include multiple Time Spans to cover different time periods.

Note

  • Use clear and descriptive names for your Time Bands to ensure easy identification.
  • Review Time Bands regularly to ensure they meet your requirements.
