What are Pricing Options?
Pricing Options are used to determine the price of an item. This can be for a membership, an activity booking, a point-of-sale item, etc...
This article covers the different types of pricing options that are available in Flow.
POS (Create a Point-Of-Sale Pricing Option)
POS pricing options are available to purchase only via FOH and are usually assigned directly to a Quick Button. In this case the pricing option itself represents the product being purchased.
POS pricing options are also available to be used as “Extras” for fast tickets which can be purchased both offline and online when making fast ticket activity bookings.
Booking (Create a Booking Pricing Option)
Booking pricing options are available to be assigned to Activity Templates (Classes and Ad Hoc) which then feed to the Activity Schedules which allow members to book activity at the price set on the Pricing Option.
Fast Ticket (Create a Fast Ticket Pricing Option)
Fast ticket pricing options are only available to be assigned to individual tickets that have been added to a Fast Ticket Activity Template in the “Activities” module, and any Activity Schedules built from those templates.
Membership (Create a Membership Pricing Option)
Membership pricing options are only available to be assigned to standard membership types in the “Memberships” module.
Freeze (Create a Membership Pricing Option)
The price to be used when a membership is frozen for a membership that is ongoing across the billing cycle - e.g., the freeze price of £5 will be used to override the membership price whilst the membership is frozen. After the freeze period ends the freeze price is removed and the membership price is reinstated. Some clients prefer to have the Freeze price at £0 if they don't want to charge customers during the Freeze.
Package (Create a Package Pricing Option)
Package pricing options are available to be assigned to Packages created in the Promotions module, and represent the actual package being purchased, not the items redeemable as part of a package.
Package pricing options are unique in that once assigned to a package, they cannot be assigned to another package.
=> One Package Pricing Option per Package available to purchase.
Course Pro (Create a Course Pro Pricing Option)
Course Pro Pricing Options are only available to be assigned to a Course Pro Membership. Course Pro is a third party System that manages lessons and courses.
Swipe & Ticketing (since replaced by Fast Tickets)
